Founded in 1893, Sasaki Shuzo brews his sakés at "Rakuchu", in the heart of the historic city center of Kyoto. Some 300 original breweries, it is the only one to be lost in this neighborhood.

The exceptional topography of Kyoto and the abundance of water were the main reasons why the Sake was brewed in Kyoto and justifying that Kyoto was appointed as capital for 1,000 years.

This magnificent sake with crystal clear transparency with yellowish reflections, offers beautiful and elegant aromas, typical of the saké Daiginjo. It is soft, fresh, spring, exhaling notes of white flowers, pear, white fishing and melon, with a sweet and elegant flavor of fresh green leaves and chervil.

On the palate, the flavor is soft at the attack, leading to a refined sweetness that, combined with umami, leads to a fresh cream taste. Then come from opulent flavors, very rich, a beautiful success and an elegant acidity. This saké recalls good white burgundy.

Our accompanying suggestions: • Quasi of veal, veal head, roasted poultry, low pork Temperature, Gigot, Grilled fish • Blue cheeses, Baragnadaudes, Termignon blue • Fisheries pie, Mirabelle pie, Mirabelles pie, Carpaccio of strawberries, vanilla desserts
