Ichibancha tea leaves are the very first to be harvested in Kagoshima, starting in late March.
These young shoots are known to be very aromatic and have very herbaceous notes.
Tea leaves are steamed for a long time, which gives them a strong vegetal flavor and a fresh aroma. When brewed, tea takes on a dark green color.
This tea accompanies daily meals and pastries.
Preparation :
♦ 10 cl of water for 2g of tea leaves (1 teaspoon)
♦ Water temperature: 80°C
♦ Infusion time: 1 minute
