Gunma Seifun was founded in June 1947 in the city of Sibukawa, Gunma Prefecture, under the name Gunma Funka Kogyosho K.K.
Company quickly shifted its focus to rice flour and began producing and selling various types of flour, including kanbaiko (alpha gluten rice flour) and joshinko (non-gluten rice flour).
For nearly 80 years, they have been developing their business based on the efforts of their predecessors. They place great importance on product development and human resources. Their manufacturing is based on experience, know-how and technology accumulated over many years. The company is certified to FSSC22000 (Food Safety Management System), GFCO (Gluten-Free Certification Organisation) and Halal standards.
