The air permeability of the jar increases the activity of fermentation bacteria and the insulation effect, similar to that of the earth walls, allows the saké to mature evenly. Prince Nagayg Legend is struggling, which creates the deep layers of flavors, rich and complex.
This Junmai Sake "Prince Nagaya Legend" is a saké that has been restored on the basis of the brewing formula recorded on a wooden letter exhumed from the ruins of the Nagaya Manoir. It is very easy to drink, with a soft sweetness and a rich taste of umami that spreads in the mouth and leaves a sharp aftertaste.
It can be tasted in different ways: cold, warmed or ice with ice cubes. It is thought that this saké was appreciated by the kings and nobles of the Nara period. Enjoy the taste of an old romance dating from about 1,300 years.
For this exceptional saké, you will appreciate the tertiary aromas, spicy and woody notes evoking curry, dry mushrooms, grilled almonds, nougat. The mouth is soft, generous, very rich, with accents of yellow fruit and apricot candied, grilled almonds, baked fruit cooked and honeyed.
