Umeshu Plumity black 19.6% 720 ml

This exceptional umeshu is made from ripe, large and carefully selected Nanko plums at full maturity, macerated in soft white liquor and candi sugar to enhance aromas. As soon as it is poured into a glass, its fragrance emerges, and a single sip reveals all its fruity richness and its sweet and persistent flavor, as if it were believed in a true plum.

The nose is fresh and intense with beautiful notes of plum and yellow fruits, peach, apricots and light vanilla accents.

The mouth is opulent, acidity and sugar very balanced.

This umeshu will perfectly accompany a grilled duck magret, a poultry stuffed with figs, a crumbled pâté, a fillet of deer or deer, parsleyed cheeses (Roquefort, Bresse Blue, gorgonzola), a foie gras terrine or foie gras escalope, vanilla ice cream, roasted figs or pears, or spicy or peppered dishes (curry).

The tasting is to be preferred very fresh or on ice.
