This gin has two major characteristics. It is the only gin in the world to be made using a wooden still that has been used since the 19th century. This method of distillation is characterised by the high heat retention of the wood. The sweet and salty components are easily distilled. The tubes of the distillation circuit are made of tin. The sulphurous components are eliminated, resulting in a sweet drink. The wooden still gives a smoother and softer appearance to the resulting drink.
