The flavored roasted sesame seeds are part of the Furikake, Japanese traditional seasonings.

For the making of this Furikake, our craftsman has selected the best sources of sesames. Delicately roasted, mixed with miso, they are then dried so as to restore authentic flavors.

This drying step is a jealously preserved secret. The miso, indispensable seasoning for the Japanese, is part of their history since the eighth century. Fermented food based on soy-rich nutrient, or barley, or rice ... it is associated with the taste of childhood, maternal cuisine. It is renowned for its umami, flavor that creates a slight dependence because of its balanced taste.
