Youhei Arimoto, owner of the plantation ume Domaine Arimoto located in Minabe, Wakayama Prefecture, the city most famous in Japan for its plums Nanko-ume, produces exceptional umeshu.

Plums are macerated in Takagaki Shuzo Ginjo Sake, located in the city of Aritagawa, Wakayama Prefecture. It was born from the desire to express the good compatibility between "umeboshi and white rice" in the umeshu. The aroma of Ginjo and the fruity of Nanko ume are well balanced, which gives a clear and elegant taste that makes you want to drink it in a wineglass.

Known as the queen of umes, the nanko ume is very appreciated for its soft and thick flesh, which makes it ideal for umeshu, ume juice and umeboshi of the highest quality. The sun exposed to the sun takes a beautiful red color, a variant known as "Beni Nanko".
