Umeshu Plumity white 11.1% 720 ml

Youhei Arimoto, owner of the Ume Domaine Arimoto plantation in Minabe, Wakayama Prefecture, the most famous city in Japan for its Nankoum plums, produces exceptional umeshu.

The plums are macerated in Saké Ginjo of Takagaki Shuzo, located in the town of Aritagawa, Wakayama Prefecture. It was born from the desire to express the good compatibility between "umeboshi and white rice" in umeshu. The aroma of ginjo and the fruity of Nanko ume are well balanced, which gives a clear and elegant taste that makes you want to drink it in a wine glass.

Known as the queen of umes, the Nanko ume is highly appreciated for its soft and thick flesh, making it ideal for the highest quality umeshu, juice and umeboshi. The sun-exposed side has a beautiful red colour, a variant known as "Bani Nanjo". This red colouring not only improves its appearance, but also increases the amount of functional components, which gives it a higher market value.
