      Founded in 1804, the company Matsushita Jozo Co. is at the origin of certain emblematic brands of the geographical identity Kuma Shochu: Saikogura and Sakura no Sato.

      Located in the village of Mizukami, close to the source of the Kuma River, one of the three rivers at the fastest rate of Japan, it has been making shochu for over 200 years and is the oldest distillery among the Kuma guilds. Shochu.

      This shochu comes from a vacuum distillation allowing the obtaining of light and subtle flavors. The consumption of alcoholic beverages, including shochu, mostly occurring during meals, the vacuum distillation allows for simpler flavors.       How to taste your shochu:

      • Pure: Savor slowly the flavor with a small amount of shochu in your mouth.
