    The umeshu Plumity Green is made from these Suiko plums infused in the saké ginjo with the refined taste of Takagaki Shuzo House.

    It is characterized by a refreshing aroma and a palette of tropical flavours.

    The nose is frank and offers a refreshing aroma evoking fresh white grapes and green apple, reminiscent of white wine, floral and fruity notes reminiscent of roundness of nashi, peach, apricot.

    The flavors recall the sweet flavor of tropical fruits, the green plum, beautiful acid notes. Sugar does not saturate and together offers a slight astringence, a little citrus and fruit of passion or even acidic candy.

    This superb umeshu will be enjoyed as an aperitif, or as an accompaniment to a creamy grilled white fish, foie gras, a cheese cake with citrus fruits, a creamy vanilla, a tart...

    Our craftsman Yohei Arimoto used for this umeshu the "Suiko" plum, a variety registered in 2009, and generally under-used by farmers because it is not ideal for umeboshi and loses its distinctive aroma of pear in traditional umeshu and only excels in the syrup.

    However, Yohei Arimoto, who studied its development from 2003 to 2005, has a strong affinity for the "Suiko". Its farm began growing in 2010 and is now the largest producer. As part of a new initiative launched at the end of 2023, Arimoto's farm has created a unique "Suiko" umeshu based on Ginjo Japanese sake, which highlights its tropical softness and smooth texture.
