Yuzu (citrus junos) is one of Japan's signature citrus fruits.
Weighing around 100-130g, covered with a rough rind, it has an acidic taste similar to that of green mandarin or green grapefruit with some notes of Unshiu Mikan.
It is rarely eaten as a fruit although its aromatic zest (outer rind) is used in Japanese cuisine to garnish some dishes, and its juice is often used as a condiment much like lemon in other cuisines.
Our perfect combination : this powder will work perfectly on a slice of baked foie gras, on a dessert (mousse, ice cream, sorbet), on fish or grilled meat, on a mixed salad or raw vegetables ... or to incorporate it into a good butter to taste raw.
