This khaki is a small variety of an average length of 5 to 7 centimeters, and has an oblong egg form to elongate.

The skin is smooth, tense and yellow-orange pale when you are young, then it softens, wrinkle slightly and takes darker orange shades mature.

To consume fresh fruits, we must let them ripen completely before harvesting them so that the tannins of the flesh decompose while the sugars increase, giving the flesh a soft, aqueous consistency, similar to that of a flan.

The flesh is also translucent, orange to yellow. The fruit generally contains seeds, sometimes not.

The Khaki Saijo, once dried, has a sweet, sweet and fruity flavor with honey notes, brown sugar, mango and papaya.
