The Yakitori (yaki = grilled, tori = chicken) are traditionally grilled chicken skewers composed of pieces of meat from all parts of the chicken, such as breasts, thighs, skin, liver and other offal.

Generally prepared on demand and cooked on charcoal, yakitori are a popular and cheap dish.

This Yakitori sauce is composed of a mixture of soy sauce Marudaizu of Fukuoka, Sake and Hon Mirin to maximize the flavor of the chicken.

The original thickening of the sauce gives Yakitori a brilliant and shiny appearance. It can also be used as Teriyaki sauce and also accompanies hamburgers and grilled fish.
