    How to use it:

    1. Remove the plastic film that covers the top of the bottle.

    1. On the top of the bottle, separate the pusher from the capsule.

    1. Place the "ball pushbut" on the spout and press with the palm of the hand to drop the ball into the bottle, holding it down for 5 seconds so that the lemonade does not spill.

    1. Once the carbon dioxide has dissipated, remove the ball press and drink.

The mechanism by which the balls act as a plug is as follows: during the manufacturing process, the balls fall in the center, the undiluted solution and the carbon dioxide are added, then the bottle quickly returned. The pressure of carbon dioxide contained in the Ramune solution then goes up the balls to the opening. They get corner and form a cap.
In fact, the glass ball contained in the bottle helps to keep the bubbles and avoid losing all the contents of the drink when you spill the bottle because the ball automatically clogs the bottle neck.

    Product history

At the end of Shogunat Tokugawa (1853, 6th year of the Kaei era), a black ship ordered by the American admiral Perry made stopover in Uraga. It is said that Perry would have offered "Ramune" (gaseous lemonade) to the Edo Shogunat officials during negotiations on board.
When the Ramune was opened, she issued a "bang," what the official of Shogunat exclaimed: "Well, is it a new type of rifle? "
At that time, the cottons of Ramune were equipped with cork caps; It was therefore necessary to keep them lying down to prevent the plugs from drying out. In addition, they had a sharp background and were called "cucumber-shaped bottles"; The cork plug was attached with an iron wire so that it does not spring under the effect of gas pressure.
The name "Ramune" would be a dialect designating this lemonade.

Why do we use balls like plugs?!
Unlike other soft drinks, the Ramune contains "balls" that act as plugs.
At a time when the screw caps or capsules did not exist yet, as is the case today, the origin of cork plugs were originally used. Subsequently, an English name of the name of Cod had the idea of using balls like plugs.
    This is the "cod bottle".
It is said that when the patent of the "cod bottle" expired in 1888, a certain Tamakichi Tokunaga, in Osaka, manufactured the first bottle of Ramune in Japan to use balls like plug.
