Characteristics of the EX polymer
■Retains the natural texture of the wood grain as if it were not finished.
■Reduces the deterioration of the product (discoloration, deformation, paint peeling, water penetration).
■ Minimal paint odour and high safety standards.
The EX polymer coating is a high-end coating system. It strengthens the interior of the wood with a highly penetrating primer. After sanding, the "Super EX coating" is applied as a finishing layer, creating a resistant and elastic film. This coating is fundamentally different from conventional coatings that form only a film on the surface of the wood.
・Packaging specifications: each piece is individually packed in a cardboard box (fine paper is inserted under the base; the stainless steel flat tray is placed in a plastic bag).
・Hinoki cypress wood used here is not veneer.
The wood core is reinforced by the application of a hypertonic primer and covered with a fine polymer coating that prevents discoloration, wading, cracks and water absorption, while maintaining the grain of the wood as if there were no coating. The coating offers great safety and antibacterial effects.
This box is made entirely by hand from natural materials. Colour and size may differ slightly from one box to another.
Important: do not use the dishwasher or microwave.
After washing, make sure to dry the box thoroughly to avoid deterioration.
