The Sanbokan citrush is a hybrid classified as frequently in the family of lemons. The bark is quite thick and peels well.

The flavors recall the mature lemon very fruity and sweet or a mixture of sweet orange and grapefruit, bitterness less; Acidity is balanced. The fruits are picked at perfect maturity on the slopes on the mountains surrounding the municipality of Arida, Province of Wakayama.
