      This product is made from patiently refined barley misse.

      The barley miso is of a fermented condiment made from barley, a singularity that differentiates it from other miso products and has a lot to do with the city where it is based, Miyakonojyo, in the prefecture of Miyazaki, a region heavily influenced by the Kirishima mountains and the sekinoo waterfalls, which gives the miso a particular flavor.

      The production of barley miso represents only 4% of the whole miso produced in Japan. Manufactured according to a traditional method, this miso brings out the complex flavors and the unique aromas of barley.
