This curry was developed under the supervision of a medicinal cooking school in Kamakura. It is based on spices blended with ingredients characteristic of medicinal herbs, such as orange daylily, pink silk tree flowers and black kikurage mushroom, to create a curry with a pleasant aroma and richness.

This mixture is suitable for preparing 5 plates. Dilute with 600 ml of water or stock off the heat.

The liquid curry has a light, refreshing texture. This curry is certified "Japan VEGAN", and is guaranteed to contain no chemical seasonings, animal ingredients, colorants or flour.

Flakes are easy to measure out finely and can be used not only for curry and rice, but also for sauces, stir-fries and other dishes. Compared with cubed curry roux, it dissolves easily and is low in fat. It produces a lighter curry, which is why it is also recommended for making curry soups.

To use, color meat and vegetables of your choice in a sauté pan, add 600 ml water and simmer until ingredients are tender. Turn off the heat, add 1 sachet of Herbal Cuisine curry powder, stir slowly to dissolve and return to the heat to simmer. Some vegetable fibres may remain, but this is not a quality issue. When dissolving curry powder, always turn off heat before adding it to the pan.
