SHIN SAKURA NO SATO Shochu - 720ml

This shochu is produced using vacuum distillation, which yields light and subtle flavours.

As alcoholic beverages, and in particular shochu, are consumed mainly during meals, vacuum distillation allows for simpler, cleaner flavours.

The distinctive feature of Shin Sakura no Sato shochu is its sweet, fresh aroma on the palate.

You will appreciate the highly floral, fruity notes, the accents of ripe melon, and the cereal notes when it is diluted. Offering a pleasant sweetness, this shochu has a refreshing finish.

How to enjoy your shochu?

· Neat: slowly savour the flavour with a small quantity of shochu in your mouth.

· On the rocks: place ice cubes in a glass and slowly pour the shochu over them to fully enjoy the flavours. You can add a slice of lemon.

· Mizu-wari, that is to say diluted with water and ice cubes: put water (preferably still water) in a glass and pour the shochu into it. Do not hesitate to use the shochu/water ratio you prefer.

· Oyu-wari, that is to say diluted with hot water: opt for water at 50°C–60°C; it is essential to first pour the shochu into the cup and then cover it with the hot water to fully enjoy all the aromas. You can do the same by replacing the water with tea.

This shochu will also be remarkable lengthened with sparkling water or as a replacement for gin in a shochu tonic in the style of a gin and tonic.
