Saké Kid Junmai Ginjo Karakuchi 15.50%, 720 ml
- Rich in umami
- Smooth palate
- Beautiful reflections
This sake skilfully blends several rice varieties, including Yamada Nishiki and Gohyakumangoku, making it the only dry sake in the Kid range.

Description
It can be enjoyed at various temperatures, from chilled to warm, making it an ideal choice for your evenings. It releases a gentle and delicately lingering fragrance, with aromas evoking spices, vanilla, and cardamom.
Its smooth, velvety texture on the palate transforms into a rich and mellow umami flavour. In the background, a clean and persistent dryness enhances the flavour. The finish is remarkably lively and pronounced. This is a dry, rich, and superbly balanced sake.
The name KID stands for "climate of Kishu" and was created by the house by combining the first character of the word "Kishu" (the former name of Wakayama Prefecture) and the second character of "Fuudo" (natural characteristics), thus giving rise to the original name "Kido" or "KID" in the Latin alphabet.
The name "KID" also represents the innocence and freedom of a child. The KID range created by Heiwa Shuzo aims to introduce the charm of sake to new generations who rarely drink it and have little knowledge of this beverage.
Its pasteurisation is described as manual. It is carried out using the "binkan hiire" method: the sake is bottled but the bottles are not completely sealed. They are first heated to above 65°C. This low-temperature pasteurisation preserves the taste and aromas of the drink, as well as a pleasant freshness.
