Description
The result is a unique white wine where the peaty whisky aroma marries wonderfully with the wine's inherent flavours. The use of different whisky casks (such as Peated Cask, Cherry Cask, Bourbon Barrel, Mizunara Cask, etc.) makes it possible to obtain wines with varied characteristics.
After approximately one year of ageing, the wine develops an interesting flavour. In addition, Mizunara wood chips, toasted on site, can sometimes be used to enhance the aroma. This off-dry white wine offers a lemon-yellow colour.
Behind the intensely smoky and spicy aroma of peated whisky casks, you will discover subtle mineral notes and light hints of white fruits such as green apple and pear. The attack is intensely smoky, with the aroma translating directly into an explosion of flavours on the palate. Gradually, a fruity sweetness emerges, while a slightly lively acidity and soft tannins bring balance to the wine as a whole.
On the finish, a smoky aroma reminiscent of peated whisky continues to spread across the palate, yet a fruity sweetness lingers on the tongue, creating a complex and intriguing tasting experience.
