TOMU, a company based in Shimane Prefecture, specialises in the cultivation and harvesting of natural flowers for use in dried flower arrangements, with the essential principle of catching the eye. Grown in fields protected from excessive pesticide use, the flowers are harvested in tune with the seasons and then meticulously selected one by one to eliminate any defects. The sorting, carried out manually with tweezers, is followed by artisanal herbarium drying between sheets of felt.
