Founded in 1886 in Yokkaichi, Kuki Sangyo has specialised in the artisanal production of sesame oil and related products since 1965, following principles of quality, safety and naturalness.
Its process, unchanged since its origins, is based on the careful selection of seeds, their roasting, steaming and pressing, followed by a lengthy decanting and filtration without the use of any chemicals. The company maintains consistent flavour and quality through precise control of blending and roasting, while repurposing its residues as fertiliser, thereby perpetuating the expertise of its master craftsmen.
