White pudding is a sweet dessert made from flavoured milk thickened with starch (traditionally potato starch).
Ingredients
200 g milk,
20 g caster sugar,
20 g Hon'Kuzu maranta starch,
A few drops of vanilla extract.
Preparation of the white pudding
1. In a mixing bowl, dissolve the Hon'Kuzu starch thoroughly with the milk and sugar.
2. Cook over high heat, stirring continuously with a wooden spatula.
As soon as it comes to the boil, remove from the heat then add a few drops of vanilla extract.
3. Pour into a rectangular mould 4 to 5 cm deep.
4. Leave to cool in the refrigerator for a good three hours.
Our recommendation
To serve, drizzle lightly with liquid raw black cane sugar or enjoy with blueberry jam.
