Founded in 2008, Domaine Ichi, formerly known as Natural Farm Group, is one of the first to adopt natural winemaking in Yoichi, on the island of Hokkaido. Located in the Niki region, renowned for its snow-capped winters and its fresh summers, the field practices a completely organic agriculture in its vineyards. In 2021, he obtained the certification of biological viticulture, becoming one of the few Japanese wineries to hold this certification.

The founder, Mr. Ichiro Ueda, was formerly computer engineer. Back in his hometown, he devoted himself to organic farming and combined computer technologies to manage his operation. It brews wine according to a concept without additives and low sulfur, highlighting the purity and vitality of the Hokkaido terroir.
