The finish with the waters filtered by the volcanic stone from Tottori Prefecture and the refining in specific barrels confer a particular typicity to this whisky: a malt with a dry aroma of orange with a sweet fruity flavor, notes of vanilla and of nuts, highlighted by a tasty sweet aroma.

*Filtration for whiskies : "chill filtered" or "non-chill filtered", Matsui Whisky seems to have selected the "non-chill filtered" to maximize the flavor and taste cultivated during barrel aging, knowing that there is a risk of precipitation and cloudiness.

For our range of Matsui whiskies, in order to maintain quality with the original technology, the craftsmen do not perform cooling filtration*, so particles may occur. This is not a defect, this is natural. The components are derived from wheat and fermentation and are mainly umami and flavors.
