This very popular dish is much-loved by the Japanese and the prefectures compete to make the most famous udon.
We have selected the former Sanuki (Kagawa) region’s as a sure bet.

Our perfect combination : these udon can be consumed cold or hot, usually immersed in a dashi broth (kombu and katsuobushi), accompanied by chopped onion and grated ginger and an egg yolk. The pleasure lies in the "al dente" texture and in the enjoyment of the tasting. The preparation is easy and everyone can give free rein to his imagination to enhance the udon ; aromatic plants, broths, seafood, tempura… there is something for everyone.
