There is a large choice in all combini (convenience stores open 24 hours a day), grocery stores and supermarkets. However, 99% of these furikake are full of food additives, dyes, preservatives and flavour enhancers. The flavours aren't natural but they taste great.

Ours is a natural furikake mixture created by the Katayama company.

There are just three natural ingredients with no additives, colourings, preservatives or flavour enhancers - just nori seaweed, katsuobushi (dried bonito), kombu (saccharina japonica) and hosomekombu (saccharina japonica var. religiosa).


Perfect matches:

 You can sprinkle the nori katsuo kombu furikake on pasta, sômen, udon, onigiri, okonomiyaki, omelettes, grilled meat, mixed salads, grilled fish, pan-fried scallops, soups or consommés.
