Seagrapes or Umibudo seaweed 100g

Umibudo is a sort of green seaweed small grapes shaped. This one is raised and harvested in a very rich in minerals seawater, drawn from 612 meters deep in the ocean near Kumejima. The umibudo quality we selected is very appreciated in the producing Prefecture of Okinawa. The sea grape is preserved in deep sea water, to keep all its freshness and stability.

Applications : 

Preparation : 

We suggest to drain it in a sieve, and immediately soak it in a clear and almost frozen water. If it tastes too salty, plunge once again 4min in clear water. Strain and savour right away. The grapes crack under your teeth and fill your mouth with a delicate iodized flavor. Our secret? Serve the dressing (a ponzu for instance, or the marugoto kokusan chômiryo) on the side…
