It expresses a nice sweetness and a beautiful lightness. Tasted hot, it expresses the enveloping aromatic notes of cooked rice. The final leaves a beautiful acidity and a lot of elegance.

Our perfect combination : this sake can accompany a meal. It is very pleasant with pasta dishes or creamed gnocchi, risotto, cured ham (Parma, San Daniele, Iberico), seafood cassolettes, yakitori, strong cheeses (Stilton, Roquefort, Gorgonzola); wonderful for steaming mussels, scallops, white fish

The name KID comes from the image of " Kishu climate " (former name of Wakayama Prefecture) and also represents innocence and freedom identical to that of a child.
The KID range created by Heiwa Shuzou aims to make the charm of sake known to the younger generations who rarely consume it because they do not know it.

Rice growing, lots of water and a temperate climate are the three essential ingredients to produce an exceptional sake like that made with care by Heiwa Shuzou, founded in 1928. It is in the heart of Wakayama prefecture, to the south of Japan's main Island, that the miracle happens. Carried along by master craftsmen in search of perfection, Heiwa Shuzou know-how can also be found in natural fruit liqueur. Without colour nor additives, of course!

"Men created sake, sake created men"...
Such is the philosophy of Heiwa Shuzou. A philosophy, rich in the knowledge we need, to understand that the choices the master craftsmen make regarding ingredients, processes and storage feed their demands of quality and their search for perfection.
