The volcanic soils of the Bolaven Plateau proved favourable and the first plants began producing a fine red pepper.\u003cbr\u003eSoon, French Michelin-starred chefs expressed their interest.\u003cbr\u003eThe plantations were extended and the first harvests began in 2014.\u003cbr\u003eOne of the objectives is to encourage farmers in the region to develop these plantations.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eOur perfect pairings \u003c\/strong\u003e: This pepper will be the ideal companion for a fine côte de bœuf, a chuck steak braised very slowly in red wine, a thick grilled pork chop, a tuna steak just seared, beautiful mackerel fillets cooked on one side only, or sardines simply grilled and served with a parsley dressing.
