A few years ago, in 2004, a Frenchman decided to bring together farmers who owned a few pepper plants in order to revive production in the region.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp style=\"text-align:justify;\"\u003eHe opts for high-quality production, with numerous selective sortings on the plant, after harvest, before drying and after drying. The exemplary work he carries out with the producers allows us today to offer one of the best peppers in the world. Despite the overall exceptional quality of the peppers from this region, the sorting we request — even more rigorous, grain by grain — allows us to obtain only a few exceptional grains per harvest.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp style=\"text-align:justify;\"\u003eThere is not a single gram of pesticide or chemical fertiliser. Everything is natural. The fertiliser used is made from a mixture of rice-field crabs and herbs. Fresh soil is regularly added and watering is done by hand, at the cost of enormous effort.
