The plantation, located on a mountainside, is the only one in Japan approved for export to Europe, thanks to its altitude and the absence of harmful insects.

Harvested between late November and late December, the fruits display excellent ripeness, an intense fragrance and a high sugar content. Their weight generally ranges between 90 and 140 g, with some larger fruits, and their size falls mostly between 65 and 85 mm.

The small marks visible on the skin are natural and attest to the authenticity of the fruit. They result from weather conditions or slight friction against the tree's thorns, with no impact on its quality. Yuzu is ideally stored at 5 °C with high humidity and freezes perfectly well.
