They are less fat than a normal sardine and have very big eyes for a very small head. In order to reveal all their flavors, these sardines were dried and then thinly chopped. A must in furikake.
Our perfect combination : you can sprinkle the nori katsuo kombu furikake on pasta, sômen, udon, onigiri, okonomiyaki, omelettes, grilled meat, mixed salads, grilled fish, pan-fried scallops, soups or consommés.
