Kochi prefecture on Shikoku Island is surrounded by mountains and the sea. It has a mild climate and the richness of the countryside is due to the warm water Kuroshio current. OKABAYASHI farm is one of eight households in the district of Ochi (Takaoka township) crossed by the river Niyodogawa well known for the purity of its water. Conditions are ideal for growing citrus fruit such as Tosa-Buntan (Citrus maxima), slightly sweet (with a touch of bitterness) and yuzu.
For this producer, traceability and the quality of their raw material is a daily preoccupation. The products come exclusively from local producers complying with very stringent specifications. Their completely natural yuzu syrup, without additive, preservative nor the least colour is well liked locally.
