Kenji no Tsuchi "The Land of Kenji" was founded in 2003 with the help of Morioka chamber of commerce and industry ( Iwate prefecture north of Honshu ).
The company name comes from the famous author and storyteller, Kenji Miyazawa (1896-1933), who was from Iwate.

The company motto is based on the values of Kenji :

  • commit and get involved in rural life
  • create new values
  • continue its actions
  • preserve an aborigine spirit

These values are applied in particular to agricultural products.
Ensuring the production of healthy food is an important issue nowadays. It is an obligation for food suppliers and for any self-respecting consumer to find healthy, safe products. Kenji No Tsuchi maintains close and privileged relations with their consumers for this purpose and there are no better actions designed to understand end user requirements and to make them understand the importance of the point of production and the land.
For Kenji No Tsuchi, a healthy, safe production results from a mastery of geological, meteorological, technical conditions… In short, it needs heart.
