MASUZUKA prepares it's "Hon Tamari" with the same traditional process since 1928, in the city of Toyota in Aichi prefecture. When the company was established, the manufacturing plant was only a simple warehouse. After World War II, they built durable buildings to stock hte 400 enormous vats in Hinoki woods (japanese cypress). Unlike the appearances, Masuzuka does not defined itself as a miso manufacturer. When you enter it's premises, you will discover the smell of forrest and can feel the four seasons. Masuzuka uses exclusively soy beans clearly identified as GMO free. All the products are 100% natural, from the control of the temperatures to the seasoning. The miso is left to the vagaries of the four seasons until it makes itself perfect. Fragrances, perfumes, aromas and tastes are completely natural and rich.
