In July, before and after flowering, rainfall was lower than usual and the climate was warm, leading to an ideal harvest volume.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhile rainfall was higher in August, at the start of véraison, September and October saw lower precipitation, resulting in an ideal harvest in terms of sugar content, colour and quantity. The colour is deep and, among the fruity aromas, one finds notes of violet and other flowers and herbs, as well as notes of dead leaves and matsutake mushrooms. The finish is very long and pleasant, accompanied by umami.
