It is cooked slowly, never at too high a temperature so as not to distort the aromas and flavours. It is made by hand in small quantities.

Prior to packaging, the powder is left to rest at a low temperature to allow each ingredient to be drawn out.

An easy, delicious recipe:

Ingredients for 4 people: 170g red curry, 300g beef (sirloin, marbled, topside), 400g onions, 150g carrots, 80 cl water.

  1. Heat a frying pan over a medium heat and add some fat. Brown your beef then remove and put to one side.
  2. Then add the onions and carrots cut into slices or chopped to the pan and cook until soft.
  3. Add the meat and simmer for 20-30 mins
  4. Add the red curry and 80 cl water and stir.
  5. Reduce to a low heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

 

Enjoy with white rice. You can replace the beef with pork or chicken, minced meat, veal or seafood.
